2005 DOC LANGHE SAUVIGNON



Type of wine:
Dry white wine.
Position of the vineyards:
Situated in the Communes of Barbaresco and Treiso, south, north and west facing exposure at an altitude that goes from 250 to 330 m a.s.l. (Hectars: 2.63.50 in total, of which 0.98.00 at Monte Aribaldo - Treiso).
Grape variety:
100% Sauvignon.
Vinification:
Distemming and pressing of grapes followed by a cold settling of the must at a low temperature, fermented and temperature controlled in stainless steel tanks (17° approx) for one week. The wine refines in vat three months before sterile bottling.
To be drunk with:
An ideal aperitif wine that because of its good structure and complexity makes of it a perfect companion to hors d'oeuvre, seafood and fresh spring salads. Drink at 9/10° C.

Ageing:
Sterile bottling and ageing for at least three months before being released for sale.

Tasting notes:
  • Colour: Straw yellow with greenish reflections.
  • Bouquet: Fine and intense aromas, reminiscent of green vegetables (asparagus, cucumbers, peas, tomato leaves) but also fruity with notes of acacia flowers.
  • Taste: Full, harmonious, flavoursome and persistent.
