2005 DOC MARTINENGA LANGHE NEBBIOLO



Type of wine: Red wine.
Position of the vineyards: In the Barbaresco village, with south west exposure and an altitude 280 m a.s.l. The vineyard gives its name to the wine.
Grape variety: Nebbiolo 100%.
Vinification: In red, with emerged cap and maceration on the skins for 6/7 days at a controlled temperature of 27-29° C. Malolactic fermentation is carried out in full after the alcoholic one is completed.
To be drunk with: Ideal with both white and red meats.

TECHNICAL DATA FOR THE 2005 VINTAGE:
Alcohol: 13% alc./vol.
Total acidity: 5,20 g/l in tartaric acid.
Residual sugar: dry.
Estimated life: Six/Seven years.
Tasting notes:
  • Colour: Brilliant ruby red medium intensity with light violet tinges.
  • Bouquet: Intense and persistent, fruity, reminiscent of raspberries, strawberries, sour black cherry, cherry jam.
  • Taste: Balanced, full, harmonius, pleasently tannic with persistent aftertaste.
